2003 Fish Fry Fly-in
RAIN SPOILED THE FLY-IN BUT WE STILL HAD A GREAT TIME 
6th Annual Fish Fry Fly-in
March 15, 2003

It rained all day but still about 80 people showed up to enjoy the fried fish and trimmings. Among the people were more than 20 guests. The frycooks were Dennis Allen, Tom Garcia, Ron Haley, Randy Powell and youngsters Stuart Hembree and Corydon Haley, Ron's grandson. Aerospouses Fay Allen, Rita Garner, Mary Hembree,  Kathryn Parks, Jennie Powell and Maureen Rhodes set up the eating and serving tables. Secretary John Magnan tried to get at least one pilot just to take off and land so it could be called a "Fly-in" but there were no takers.

Fry cook Everett Parks taking a break while fellow cooks Tom Garcia, Dennis Allen and Ron Haley continue to fry the fish, potatoes and hushpuppies. 
The serving table loaded with plenty of side dishes and desserts along with the fried fish, potatoes and hush puppies. 
Although it was rainy outside everyone enjoyed the meal inside  the comfortable EAA 172 clubhouse.
